| In order to limit any incidental quay and quayage pollution (fuel and oil discharge, etc.), pumping assistance kits containing carpet, cushions, pads, gloves, absorbing powders are used by CCIC staff. Surface water pollution is mainly due to hydrocarbons released during ship fuelling. The SMBC, the managing authority of the body of water uses pads, oil mops and cloths to contain pollution and to skim the water surface. |
